Materials

Full-grain leather on the upper, the top layer of the hide, uncorrected and uncoated, so it takes on patina instead of cracking. Cherry-red soft-leather lining, edge to edge. Soft leather, not suede.

Construction

Super lightweight construction, which on a boot this small you notice the moment you pick it up. Rubber outsole. Not Goodyear-welted; that is Florence, and only Florence.

Heel and silhouette

One and a half inch kitten heel, rubber tipped. Long pointed toe. An ankle boot that sits just above the ankle bone, with a side zip.

Care and repair

Wipe with a damp cloth and condition the leather now and then. The collection is built to be repaired: when the rubber tip on the heel wears, any quality cobbler can replace it.

The line

A heel of one and a half inches.

A fine curved kitten heel, rubber tipped, under a long pointed toe. The line runs from the point of the toe to the tip of the heel in one sweep, and that sweep is the whole shape. Nothing else on the outside of this boot is doing any work.

A cherry-red soft-leather lining, edge to edge. It is the one note of color in an otherwise quiet object, and it is the same red inside every Fabbruccio boot. Soft leather rather than suede, so it breathes and softens with wear.

Super lightweight construction. When the rubber tip on the heel wears through, which on a kitten heel is the first thing to go, a cobbler replaces the tip rather than the boot. The whole collection is made to be repaired.

A 1.5 inch kitten heel, cut clean with no hardware. It is the lowest heel in the collection, on the same wider last as the rest: wider through the calf and ankle, deeper in the toe box.
